lil wilkins
startin trials on a mod and want to know if a bike with a bashgruad(echo team) is better to do street on than a bike with a bashring (gu typhoon)cheers jay
ogre
Having a bashguard is a lot more "forgiving" when you mess up since your less likely to fall badly when you have a fairly sturdy plate to balance on compared to just a ring although there are some minor weight penalties. if your new to trieals you will benefeit greatly since it helps your confidence knowing your less likely to damage your frame and yourself . mat hudson
bash plates are much better than bash rings. i'd perfere one on my stock but for some reason they arn't accceptable on stock!
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Get a mod without a bashplate (get one with bash guard) You are used to riding with a guard off of your stock.and in the long run, you should become a better rider because your move worried about slipping and hitting your frame, rather than just slipping to bash, so it makes you actually succeed in doing that move (thats what i have found anyways....)
