bob87
Just got my Leeson today (thanks ghosts-cloak).The whole bike is pretty much black bar the headset and the bash-guard.I was wondering if anybody knew who makes aftermarket bash-guards for Middleburns?I know that Leeson themselves make one but i just wanted to see if there are any other companies out there. manuel
send the guard to leeson get it machined down (like everyone else who owns a leeson (it seems)) then look in the book or the internet for an anodising place . . . . easy peasy ...ask mike singleton on here for anodising - as his bike was pretty much all done. If you had machined it, you wouldn't need to strip it. Edited August 5, 2006 by jake1516

RTFTIm pretty sure he wants a black one? from the way he makes it sound by saying how everything else on his bike is black? else he owuldnt be changing his SILVER bashguard?RTFT
Nick Garland
If you machine it down whatever colour it is to start with it will turn silver, and generally shiny. Fresh products dont make them from scratch as far as Im aware but offer a machine down type thing. I ran one for a while, very nice indeed, fat nicer than my 16ti I was running as I used to go to bash alot, but now I dont so back to a 16ti.Get it machined it will look very nice indeed.
