Monty 221ti Forks

Recommended Posts

hello,

At the moment i'm running monty 221ti forks and i'm starting to get very worried about them snapping, i've seen a few pictures of monty 221ti's snapped, how easy do they snap... i don't ride big, 5-6 foot drops and 5-6 foot gaps. would my forks snap soon?

I heard there natural riding forks not street and i don't like to ride natural, theres no signs of them snapping no dents and they don't creek when allot of pressure is on them.

is it a certain trick which gets them e.g tyre taps?

cheers

tim.

they should be fine if you dont do big riding. and all this talk saying natural is not as bad for your bike as street is rubbish ( not just this topic)

natural riding puts far more stress on your forks than street. and most other parts of your bike. wedging between two rocks or over a rock flexs your forks alot. as does hooking over a rock and lifting to back wheel. unless your a big tgs basher like tunny of damon then street really isnt that harsh on things like forks and frames when compaired to natural
