Tom_
hehe ye really sharp lock n give of a nice green dust effect after one brake pull lmao. I think that i am going with plazmatic crms as I hear they have better peformance in the wet than the koxxs and they are just a really good all round pad. trials_mad
i am in the final stages of building my new bikee and i orderd koxx yellows im just wondering if they are the best choice if not any oppinions on whice are the best please help thank youI have found that magic pads work immense on a harsh grind. They also work really well on an alex rim but you have to keep a rough grind for maximum stopping performance. If that is still not enough, then i normally wear some tar into the grind and the tar stays in all the grooves on the grind and this will be a very solid back brake! baz123
heatsink reds with cnc backings work excellent rain or shine. also have really slow wear rate as ive had them about a month now and there still looking brand new. plus the cnced bakings sit in the brake caliper alot better than the plastic backings. which seem to wobble and cause unwanted pad wear. byron. dan more
either heatsink reds on cnced backings or koxx blocks browns and can you put other pads like koxx blocks on metal backings dan
minicrack
At the end of the day it's up to you what pads you get cause it's you who has to ride the bike. But if it was me i would get some heat sink cousts as a few people i know and ride with have them, and they have highly recommend them to me. So i would have get heat sink coust, put grind in rim and use tar this is a very good combination. One of my friends who is currently using these pads his grind has been worn away becasue the pads are so harsh . Darren.
jacks
sorry for the FAQ butwhat is the coustsink's wear life time?and would it be a good money saving to stick the compounds to standard backings?
