i have a 06 python and it rides really nice! if i had the chance to swap for a xtp then i would... reason being they are nicer and they do ride smoother on the other hand they have known to crack and split, i just think you have a good xtp that last for ever or by chance you could have a bad one tht brekas! but if like me you are on a budget then.. get a zoo, they are still awesome (Y) hope this help you!

i would say koxx though !

So go for the python or if you want to save money buy a zona zip frame and slap zoo stickers on it.

Why on earth would you do that? There is nothing wrong with the Zona, its not a bike to be ashamed of is it? What the hell is it coming to when people have to pretend their frame is something else just to get better respect from fellow cretins.

As i have explained in many other topics the XTP is a fantastic bike - light, great feel, great to look at and basically one of the best frames available. HOWEVER it is a competition frame, a serious one. It was designed to be used for comps by the worlds top riders therefore it is not meant to be hurled at street stuff. The tubing on the XTC is 1.2mm thick - incredably thin, whereas on the zip or python it is nearer to 2mm. This means that the python is heavier and therefore not as good for comps, but better for riders who are still learning techniques and moves and may occasionally hit the frame etc.

Put it this way, you abuse the XTP (if you take it on street basically) it will crack, it doesn't make it any worse, because it leads the way in what it was designed for - comps. The python and similar bikes lead the way in what they were designed for - being indestructable for all mannor of riders. I cannot stress enough how easy it is to ruin the XTP frame through eneral mistakes in riding...

Make your choice based on this... but don't say i didn't warn you
