poopipe Posted July 31, 2006 Report Share Posted July 31, 2006 smooth steel snailcams are definitely easier to set up than chaintugs - it's a lot easier to be sure everything's butted up against everything else than with chaintugs -you also don't have to bugger about with 11mm spanners.I dunno about the notched ones - i can imagine they're complete bastards if you're unlucky enough to have exactly the wrong length stays Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Houseface Posted August 1, 2006 Report Share Posted August 1, 2006 chain tugs... always have used them, always will.they are so much easier because (if you have a bit of slack on your chain) if your wheel has moved or is rubbing on a pad you can just tighten one side and stop the rubbing and tighten the chain at the same time.steve.
