King C
On Tartybikes it says that using the tensile bashring and front freewheel is not recommended, as the bashring takes up a few threads. Has anyone actually had any problems with using the bashring and a freewheel as the older style does not have the splines for it.Also would getting a bash with a thinner clamp section be any better. The tensile one is 5mm thick and the Deng ones are 4mm. Will this 1mm make much of a difference.
Bionic Balls
i run the old tensiles with an ENO....and bashring...it's a very tight fit against my BB shell, and i've had to grind the tabs off the eno, and file the BB "slightly"my bashring is custom (some blacksmith dude made it for me), but that 1mm could be very significant whatever happens- you can make it fit adam
endofreak
I use the older Tensile cranks and Coust bash. I used to run a 36 ep eno and the gap between the BB shell and freewheel tabs was shockingly small. I now run the Tensile freewheel which has no tabs and the gap is a hell of a lot bigger.
