JT!
Get an ENO.My troubles are with the BB. With your BB, you'll be able to space the cog out as much as you like, so you wont have the problems i'm having becuase i've got the external ecbo BB. Which is what is actually causing the problem, not the hub. Like i said on msn.

Walleee
Yeh, This really confuses me.People are prepared to pay like extortionate rates for Profile's in fancy colours, having shitty problems getting them set up, often meaning they need to buy more new componentery in order for it to work, when they could just get a fixed rear hub, along with a (generally) piece of piss to fit freewheel, for like £100 or somethin' silly.I guess if you've got one, it's not much hassle once it's fitted and no doubt does work well,(it better at that price) but it seems that there are just so many differant variation's in BB shel size and such that each bike is differant. Sponge
1) 118mm ISIS2) Bashring3)yep perfect4)no118mm! Thats close enough 10mm shorter than my BB . Is it worth me getting a shorter BB? Like 118 or 122?
JT!
118mm would seem fine to me. I got away at one point running a 113mm bb and the just hit the stays.so, 5mm more, 2.5mm each side. Seems perfect. Good to keep in short, it's generally stonger, and lighter.Reall would get an ENO though. It's as good and cheaper.
Sponge
Reall would get an ENO though. It's as good and cheaper.... says the person who had an ENO, and got a Profile himself . Nah, its just that I can't seem to find anywhere that stocks Eno spares. Plus I really want to move away from front freewheel as my chains seem to wear surprisingly fast in comparison to when I used to run rear freewheel. Plus I want to use a Kris Holm rim, so might as well get a new hub. (about time I used what I suggested to the forum) But, thanks for the help so far. I think I'll try and find a 118mm somewhere in China. Last thing: JT, are you going back to ENO if your problems with the BB/chain line remain? Swize
I ran a 128mm FSA Platnin pro dh in my t-pro with echo forged cranks and a fixed sprocket. The only pronlem i had was that the threds on the cranks/fixed cog where not cut straight leaving me with un even chain tention.I am now running a 118mm isis bb with echo cnc'ed cranks a 05 echo bash and i have had no problem with that either.
