lee220 Posted July 28, 2006 Report Share Posted July 28, 2006 you can get special disc and rim cleaner people use it on motorbikes i use it on mine it works ace and does not affect your brakes some people use coke on discs when there pads are mucky it cleans them some people say i got told by staff in halfords.Its called brake cleaner you can get it from more or less any garage. Wright Pads Posted July 28, 2006 Report Share Posted July 28, 2006 Right watre is the only thing you should put on any disc to make it works better!!To clean thusDisc brake cleaner (it's a spray and is cold as hell)Boiling waterRagEmerypaperFile for you pads as they will be fudged tooFairOr if you have a dishwasher do your mum a favor and put the disc in there and let it get blasted.
