Scribbler
Well after years of BMX'ing I wanna start trials, but have no idea where to buy a bike from Haven't BMX'd in over a year now, don't have that bike anymore. Can anyone recomend some online places to get a fairly cheap starter bike? Don't wanna shell out loads then find I'm no good or just don't enjoy it Got about 200 quid atm, but maybe can go a bit over budget!Cheers all! yoyoyo
I'm guessing that with your experience on a bmx you'll want to start on a 20" trials bike. For your budget, getting a new bike and if you want to ride 20", you'll probably be looking for an Onza T-vee.SupercyclesTartybikesIf your looking for something better, then i'd look for something second hand. Check out the For sale /wanted sections of the forum.(But don't post any for sale or wanted threads in NMC unless you don't want to get validated )Or maybe ebay. And welcome by the way. Scribbler
Cheers for the reply, what's the major difference between 20" etc? As I've said I don't really know much about these bikes, ridden a few and liked them Thanks for the welcome too
MikeCottTrials
20" is the same as a bmx size wise, the other option is 26" which has full mountain bike wheels. i ride a stock (26") which is easier to go bigger id say u feel safer on a bigger bike plus if ur gonna be hitting rails etc stock has more wheel surface area to hit it Edited July 23, 2006 by MikeCottTrials

trials goose
alrite mate you will be wanting to look at a second hand bike if your forking out 200 quid. either ebay or the paper or this freindly forum should get you a good mod forriding. A t-pro is a good idea compared to a first hand t-vaa as they arnt good after you have got any good (coming from an ex-owner)
