Get well soon In the past month I've nearly been hit twice, once when some woman drove down a FOOTPATH and it was a blind corner (or path) and as I walked out she slammed all on and nearly ran over my foot, I swore like hell and punched her door.The second time I was walking on the pavement and a woman stopped on the high street and was reversing into her driveway which I was walking past. She really did speed up and I looked at here and she was just daydreaming looking forwards and never once checked her mirror.So I slowed down and just waved to her and to get her attension, she didn't notice still so I scared her to death and slapped her boot really hard (which hurt) but she slammed all on thinking she'd hit someone...she got out and swore a bit and I said 'watch out you twat, you nearly hit me'...she didn't, but she'll think twice now when she reverses out. Limping around and putting a shirt on hurt immensely as I have no skin left on my shoulder.My head was alright, just thumped the ground a bit hard. Broke my new Sennheisers which isn't great but they actually saved my ear so can't complain.I think i'll lay off the riding now, because it goes to show how easy it can happen - I wasn't doing anything silly and I could have potentially done big damage or even worse-case died.Thanks to everyone that stood watching and then looked away when I made eye contact - really f**king grateful for your help.Anyway cheers for all the support - much appreciated, you don't get rid of me that easily ;-)Thanks guys!
