Fixed Pants™
Also, does anyone have any suggestions on as to what bike i should get, I'm quite good on my MTB but I'm not really the kind of guy to do tricks, just go as fast as i can and just off a big kerb down the end of my road and fall, scrape knees, elbows, thighs, legs, hands and smash knee & hand... HA! I'm never going to try that again... but I have had quite alot of experience on bikes and motorbikes and minimotos... can anyone advise me on what bike to get - a mod or a stock or what notAs I'm only 14 and having to get the bike for my birthday i can't really have anymore than 180 on the bike, http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=80184 I'm thinking of getting this bike for 100 if he accepts that offer and he's willing to hold it until late august, anyone got any comments about that bike and the priceThanks in advanceGlen

Fixed Pants™
OK, that'd be great, are you any good at teaching new people, and think i could meet up and perhaps borrow one of your bikes to see if i'm not copmpletely useless on them? before i buy one... its ok if you don't want me to go on your bike

Fixed Pants™
Does anyone think that i can get a half decent beginner bike from Halfords, because i've just seen afew on there, but I'm not sure if they're any good http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...umb=33980-33957 can someone have a look at them please, it would be a great help as Halfords are reliable and honest and it'd be great if they were good, if not, someone is selling a Da Bomb mod for 100 pound, which is better. Thanks Edited July 20, 2006 by 49ccminicrossah
Fixed Pants™
Anyone have a view on halfords? Because my birthday is getting closer and closer and i definetly want to get a trials bike.
Lee Cable
Erm look on tarty bikes, they tend to be pretty awesome for info on bikes and stuff. You want to get something that has man sized wheels, not girlie ones. So how about a t-vee?
lardo_69
stay away from halfords when I last went in they didn’t sell anything trials specific. And they over charge on alot of there stuff. Try getting your self down the local bike shop. These guys will be much more willing to help you. Because you are young go with your parents they will take you more serious that way. Hopefully the guys should let you have play on a bike in there car park.I did a quick search and found this bike shop. http://www.bromleybike.co.uk/ If you wanna get something off the internet try these guys http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/news.php I heard they are good but stay away from “super cycles” there email responses is rubbish and they never get back to you.Good luck.
