downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Hi people, i took my bike out of the shed again this morning, and the same problem accured as yesterday...So i have came to the conclusion to bleed it with oil just for now, just so i can actually ride my bike...But i dont have any blood/suspension fluid, but what i do have is, "Mobil ATF 220 Dexron-II Automatic Transmission fluid".My dad says this is the same as the citroen suspention fluid, as he uses it in his suspention on his Citroen. Is it actually mineral oil? would i be able to use this to bleed it just for now?It doesnt say on the pot that itsnt mineral oil, or synthetic... Could someone please tell me? i need to bleed today!

downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
water and vaseline.does this actually work? First time iv heard of this option Wouldnt it be all lumpy?Just bled it with the Mobil, but its SLOW as f**k lol.I did have a water bleed, but with the heat, the pistons cept getting stuck out at the caliper, and stuck in at the lever...Might try the water + vasaline.... (if it does work...)
minitrialer
Hydraulic brakes are supposed to run hydraulic oil , mineral oil in this case. Please don't be a fool, just pay a few quid and get some proper stuff so it doesn't leek and you don't have to re bleed it every friggin week. Ask any proper mechanic what you should do, if necessary go into you local bike shop and query them.
