Bursting Hydraulic Hose

Again yesterday, at the very end of a 2h ride, my rear maggy' hose just bursted (just off the spiky screw)

I don't know if it had been weakened from previous kicks (I don't have brake boosters that protect them)

or if they were too tensed (not arched enough and a bit pinched)

But this really sucks <_< It's the 3rd time in less than a year, and luckily this time, it didn't involve me crashing on my spine :-

Now I am considering a reinforced brake hose... but are they much better if you still don't use a brake booster? or Should I simply get the same magura hose but with a brake booster on top of it?

Any experience with that?? Did any one burst any reinforced hose and how?

If its the unex stuff, then yes ive seen it done and ive done it myself a couple of times. If your going to get any braided hosing id only go for hope or maguras own. The unex stuff is absalute shite. Sams came off from just pulling the lever hard.. worrying? yes.

If your going to go with magura normal plastic hose then run a booster. If you get some hope braided you dont have to run one ive had hope stuff for over a year. Proper good stuff even though nowadays you have to build up the fittings etc yourself, when it first came out it was already pre cut etc.. ah well still good
