dont mean to sound harsh but i thought that was gash your style is poor and its not like you go massive, how do some people these days get sponcerd its beond me.

Ben thats true, but i think youll agree we can both think of a much, much worse example then dan!! ;) hes a awesome rider cammy angles didnt do much for him though, 9 foot flat! 7 crate sidehops hes well on his way to being a ultimate beast  . just need to get a few large drop downs now! really enjoyed the video. couldnt beleive some of those gaps, youve got loads potential! get some huge things done :) . Dont really look forward to riding with you again :( your too good

haha well i will say the same as ben lee on the issue of how come people get sponserd but mr burton is not an example of that he clearly shows his beasty style of raw power and it is a style because its not smooth etc doesnt mean he doesnt have a style and its not good.

power for the win example damon watson you would say his style is shit ?

Yo, Burton. Who's the owl now, eh? ^_^ Liked the vid, i liked it a lot. But, some of the camera-angles were a bit poor. Like, they didn't really show how big you can go (Y) . There was a lot of sidehops and gaps in there, but it was split with a few variation moves...

Cheers,

Joe.

Enjoyed that video, i like your style ... you really give it some Pworr on on them gaps don't you :P , also liked the track and the editing was good.

The riding was beasty, big gaps, big sidehops and static ups and some sweet gaps to front wheel, was some good stuff going on there.

Whats the track by the way ?

That was good, for a layman like me it was easy to watch and nothing stood out in the editing as being rubbish.

To point out the obvious, you dont actually have to be any good to be sponsored, just useful to the company. Dan would seem to be both.

I'm in no position to judge the riding because there are not many things in that video that I'd do myself. And obviously, if I don't like it I should just remove it and forget I ever watched it. Apart from a few large gaps to front wheel which were impressive, I found it reperitive and a bit boring. Gaps, gaps, dropgaps, gaps and from time to time a different move... And with a style that could only be described as anonymous. I very much more enjoy watching videos of ie Baxter whose riding is nowhere near as big, but is very smooth and inventive.

You obviously are a very good rider, but you don't stand out from the number of riders who just put loads of power into their moves.

Well, that's just my point of view, don't treat it too seriously ;)

  • 1 month later...

Can you gap as far when gapping off the edge or do you need a bit of a roll-up to it like me (Y)

Still pretty big gaps.

Also you have the wierdest style of front to back ever

(No offence)

Still a really good video though

Didn't think i'd be getting any more replies for this :unsure:lol.

I drop gap off the edge, but I gap before it, so i don't shoot straight down.
