Dan6061
It's a good idea for BMXs, but I'm sure that it stops the cogs getting chewed up by grinds etc?I don't think it's very common that the rear cogs get hit in trials...

Mark W
Good stuff, I've been waiting for these to come out. BMX ahoy! I don't think I've ever actually hit my sprocket/hub on my mod, but it's taken some shit on my BMX so I'm gonna be getting me one of these...Having said that, I have a feeling that it's going to be a complete *bitch* trying to sort out getting the chain on... We'll see.
eskimo
The idea of a drive side hub guard seems a bit daft to me. I believe the cog isn't really going to get knocked if it's 13t or smaller. I've done a few grinds on my axle without the cog hitting. I do have the 2003/4 Ruben frame which has a bigger dropout on the drive side but even so I don't think it would be to easy to hit. I guess there is only a small market for these in the bmx world as most people have left hand drive (if their right pegged) plus have only 2 or maybe 3 pegs. So I think the only people to buy it would be 4 pegger's with extra small dropouts. I guess I don't need one but least its there if anyone did run into the problem. Mark W
I do pegless stuff on my drive side and it hits the lockring really easily. It also clips the main driver itself, not to mention the chain. This isn't ranking high up there on "Things I enjoy happening" list, to be honest. Seems like a sound idea to me
eskimo
What frame are you running? I recon you have micro dropouts so maybe then, yes it would be a very good investment for you.
mat hudson
marks got a mutiny sinister. it has little droppouts. compliments his tiny penis well. Edited July 18, 2006 by mat hudson

Not particularly small. Used to hit on my Parkinson too, and my brother's old, old S&M Stricker...
eskimo
I think maybe its cause I got extra big dropouts then. Or maybe i'm too precise for my own good.
