MikeCottTrials
this might be stupid but have you tried a booster?
SamHolmes
Ive been using standard Heastink blues on a Ronnie rim for a while, they worked amazing in the dry with a fresh grind, they've started to lose power abit now but still work pretty good
Danny Swindlehurst
this might be stupid but have you tried a booster? you only need a booster if the frame flexes!
Danny Kearns
you only need a booster if the frame flexes! Then why do people run them on zoo pythons ? Dan.
Robwalker
More 'solid' feel to the brake system. And looks cool...
ManxTrialSpaz
Plazas on a medium grind=sex. As long as you set the brakes up properly. I also strongly advise the use of a space bar
Deonn h
Then why do people run them on zoo pythons ? Dan.Cos the frames flex. When i press my brake you can see the mounts moving out at least 4 mm.I`ve got an 05 though , think they stiffend them up abit on the 06 but still .... I had to bodge mine by using 4 spacer off an old chainThe threads in the frame for the bolts are not worn casuing the bolt not to be fully tigtened or fail when under loadOne very comen one is the black plastic C ring that goes around the slave. I seen a few without these and some even use the ring pull of milk cartens!! Don;t askJust some ideas there.Alext had issues with all his brakes but i got em working every time so any problems let me know, help where i can mate

Wright Pads
Is that hose the Hope or magura kit? Magura one leaks as does the Unxe one and the Hope should be mental. What rim by the way as you haven't said along with grinding disc?Light grind doesn;t help on the rear!!Where are you in the uk....i'm really willing to blast this problem away and give you what you want

Synergy
buy a booster because the gu frame does flex a bit also i found out when my girnd wanst working brilliant sand down the rim a wee bit with sand paper and then use zoo pads, works immense if your still not happy ad a bit of tar. Danny Swindlehurst
im going to test out the zoo and the coust pads i think and ive got a booster so ill give that a go as well!
planet-x-boy
My 26" GU flexes ALOT. I mean like 5mm on each side. So maybe thats the problem. i run an rb lever, braided hosing, koxx yellows, and soon to have a Gu booster. Works beasty. I would say get a Gu booster just because they are huge and the frame would never flex wth that thing on and just get some coust, koxx reds/yellows, or plaz all with a harsh gring and you should have a brake that will work awsome.Hope that helps!!!!Brett........ mr_gubike
Hey.....Ive got a 20" short gu and my rear brake its really good. I run a rear 06 echo rim on zoo pads with tar, nothing can beat it But my freind has the same set up but with a grind and his brake is slighty better, but his pads will run out before mine do so Abdab
mods
Gu's have a built in booster i doubt you would really need two boosters, as that would be effectively what your doing.
