basher Posted July 16, 2006 Report Share Posted July 16, 2006 (edited) if you value your rim do not get koxx browns ive had them and they eat your grind away. they just wear your grind away in the matter of a ride meaning you have to put another grind on or use tar.you will struggle to find a pad that doesn't speak on a grind your best just droping the idea because it will never happen you finding a set of pads that dont speak on a grind. i would recomend koxx blues or plazmatic. they both hold well and have a good wear rate. but if you do find some pads that dont squeak they will be a hard compound and just wear your grind down like koxx browns. i would rather have the squeak and better braking preformance than not.
