isah
downtube protection made by florian wagner, he's unfortunatly not on t-f. It's made of cf, 2mm thick, it's undestroyable (believe me, he tried to brake it with a hammer..) Edited July 16, 2006 by isah

Davey
If that dent immediately below your rather sexy downtube protector is anything to go by, I'd say it's saved your frames life!!!!!Davey

isah
it's a custom made carbon fiber protector.. a friend of mine bought a tube at a hardware shop, then he adjusted it to my downtube to use it as pattern.. the main problem is that my downtube isn't round, it's the wider the closer you get to the bb...He made the protector quite flexible, so i was able to press it on the downtube and after a few minutes the cf got the shape of the downtube..It's quite easy and cheap, i think it cost about 7 pounds cost of material.
