Barbra
I broke the screen on my d500 a while back, i just got it fixed, but now i have it back the bluetooth doesn't work , neither does the IRDA, it comes up with 'bluetooth activate error' or 'IRDA activate error'. I've searched google extensively, i only found two solutions, the first one was a load of crap that i couldn't understand, the second was pushing down on a silver box next to the battery pins i tried that and it didn't work for me So if anybody has any other solutions, or if anybody knows what i'm on about with the load of crap solution, could they please type it in a way that i'll understand.thanks to anybody that manages to fix the problem! you will earn my undying love, and earn yourself a place in my sig ps. the phone was on o2, but i had it unlocked and i'm now using a virgin sim. Its not the sim card by the way because, we went through the house trying everyones sim card. we tried o2, orange, t-mobile and virgin. Jaffacakes
I smashed the screen on my D500 ages ago .Is secure mode on in the bluetooth settings? That might have something to do with it...

Luke Drewery
Take it back to wherever you got it fixed? They should fix it for free seeing as they caused the problem. That is of course if bluetooth worked fine before you got the screen repaired...
Barbra
well i don't really think that its there fault, because ive read on the internet that its just happened to people for no reason. Like one minute it was working fine the next it had been raped. I might just take it the o2 store and get them to return it to factory settings see if they can do it.I'd much rarther have it done by myself so i don't lose all my stuff though
mod_rider
Yeah me and a few people I know had the same problems with the bluetooth, where it wouldn't connect with certain things. It's a flaw in the phone I think
