MSM
I wonder how accurate these figures can be, based on instrumentation and method. I know my bathroom scales are not calibrated particularly well, and they are electronic ones, in case anyone assumes that it must be accurate because it's on a digital display. FWIW: My scales, which overread, reckon my stock bike ( using the me+bike - me method ) weighs 24.8lb.
Greetings
9,2kgs which is 20,5lb if I'm not mistaken?

Tomm
My revell is 22lbs.My road bike is 17.6lbs.I think my trials bike is lighter than my road bike I wouldn't like to hazard a guess at actual amounts though - and I'm not convinced bathroom scales are accurate enough - our ones frequently are about half a stone off. Either that or I'm getting fat...

Full Vee set up too, which is lighter than magura.. I think my trials bike is lighter than my road bike Haha, well my road bike costs more than my trials bike.. I'm trying to work out a formula of exactly how cost converts to weight..
AdamR28
I have no idea how everyone is making their bikes this light - please tell me the secret?! Mine's probably about 25lbs.
Sam Nichols
I think the secret is accuracy...I'd bet my bottom dollar that you have a decent set of scales! Mine are shite and probably a pound or two out! When I'm at work next I'll weigh her again
mat hudson
i'm confused as to how people are getting them this light aswell my forks are light, bars, tyres are normal, light tube, burns etc. only thing i can think of is a burn ti bash and a light front wheel, wierd. Adrian
ive got all like the new echo and try-all parts on my GU which are pretty much the lightest components, appart from my hope mono rear hub and onza bb (which is like grams heavier than most bbs). and my bike weighs 25lbs!! so i dont know how all of yours are so light unless all my parts are deffectively heavy or summit...oh well...
