poopipe
Erm 400w1 graphics card... 1 hard drive?it ought to be ok unless you've got a nvidia 6800GS or something to that effect in there - they eat bestly amounts of power.hmm, i'm a bit stuck then
Haz
Sounds like a PSU issue, yeah, but not because it's under-rated just because they are notorious for dying in completely different ways...If you can, find a spare or something and install it, if that doesn't work, let us know. RicH_87
i know this sound random and shit but try messing with the cable'd jumper type things that are attached to the power button/reset button/power led/ hdd led etc,i know they haven't been touched and stuff but maybe they have got over dusty or just been dislodged or something.worth a try anyway, save you forking out on yet another psu. Danny Kearns
hmmmmm....Right firstly, you mentioned something about "ram" ?If you did, then what ram speed do you have, How old is the ram ?Just try different things and see how it goes.If worst comes to worst, take it too a computer shop and ask them give it a look over. Dan.
inzane_2
Why dont you just take it to a shop?? i personally think that if your psu blew for a second time, it would be something dragging too much juice out of it possibly

deagledaddy
Erm surely if there is a light on the MOBO still there must be power to it, suggesting the PSU hasn't compleately died, i recon anyway. It could be that one of the bits of hardware that you do have installed is playing up. though normally if this is the case it won't get past the bios......hmm I had a shite old modem card in mine once, was stopping the whole damn pc working.....Can't really help to much sorry, just don't think the psu is the obvious issue, Something else is causing the death, even if the psu is dead its likely that something else killed it

Krisboats
Mine does the opposite, Its on a lot same as yours but when i do eventually turn it off, it comes straight back on. Or, like the other night, i switched it off and the bugger waited till i'd put the chair away, walked across the room, climbed into bed, and just had the nice feeling of all my muscles relaxing before... you guessed it.. The fans whirred up and the blue lights came flashing on filling my previously dark room with a sea of moving blue light. If i'd have had enough time to doze off i would have probably shat my pants thinking aliens were trying to anal probe me.Be thankful yours doesn't work at all, it could be worse. You could have mine

Theres no point you saying it didn't work at all so they give you a new one and it happens again. Its a waste of time and effort for both you and the company, but if you say it worked then stopped working they'll more than likley be able to help you out with finding the cause of the problem. CBProductions
Check each ram stick ( as in run it with 512 then the other 512. As it sounds like one of the ram sticks could have errors or like said above other hardware. Also if your running it 24/7 check your temperatures and that your fans are all working e.t.c
