Bashguards, Chainings And Gear Ratio's.

Hi guys,

I'm currently running tensile cranks with the normal bashguard and 22T chainring. The gear ratio i use is 22-18. I wouldn't mind running a smaller chainring up front and the uci bash you can buy, running a more uci style gear ratio.

So i need to know:

1. What bash and chainring can i buy and where from, for a more uci style gear ratio?

2. What gear ratio can i run, when using a uci style bash and where can i get a rear chainring to suit?

cheers,

Oliver

i would DEFFF !!!

get either a screw on 18tooth cog and tensile UCI bash, and use a 16 tooth cog on the rear.

OR

buy a 20 tooth chainring for your current bash, and use an 18 tooth cog on the rear.

MJcycles

tartybikes

can sort u out a fine deal.

I run 16t up front and 13t at the rear (before anyone asks no it's not mod it's stock)! Only started running this ratio last night and my riding has improved dramatically already, but this ratio is pretty much the same as 22-18 anyway so it won't be much different to what you're used to now!
