Rim To Fit Leeson Clear

Just a quick question, have hunted through searches and only info on rim width was in the "does x fit into frame y" topic, and only mentions d521's

Basically, my rear sun mammoth is stuffed, and my old hope xc hub is startin to give up the ghost.

Looking for something nice to replace it with....and wondered what would go best and/or fit.

I love the mammoth, its a fat bastad rim thats lasted 4 years on a dirt bike and 2 trials bikes (though with not much use recently) but its only 32mm wide

Would something beefier like an Alex DX32 fit the standard leeson frame? I know its 39mm wide, so maggy pads may need adjustin a lot....

Any useful info or suggestions would be tops, Im running a Speccy Roller RS 2.3 tyre if it matters

Edit: Oh and hub-wise I cant afford a king so will most likely stick with hope and get a pro 2T :)

Ok ta sounds good

Only reason Im a lil concerned is cos the current setup, the tyre is VERY close to the drive side chainstay at the front where the boxed bit to clear the crank/bashguard is.

Duno if thats just cos the speccy tyre has particularly wide knobs on the outside or what :S

Any other useful comments?

i had a 38mm rigida rim in mine for a little bit but i could only use a maggie with quite old pads. ive been using an alex dm 24 rim which is 31mm i think, so a little narrower than most rims but its solid.

(its pretty much the same as the mammoth i think)
