Walleee
The cups that go into the frame should not just 'fit in' they should be pressed using a headset tool otherwise you'll run the risk of flaring the HT as paul said.Just because it wasn't flared when you had it, doesnt mean a twat hasn't had their way with it since. If your asking you really shouldn't be messing with such thing's.Is it the same headset you used before? When you sold the bike did you remove your original headset I guess? and is it the same headset you now wan't to fit? Didn't you notice when removing it in the first instance that it was pressed in, and you would have had to whack it out?Regardless, you havn't given a good description as to the problem really, hence my shite reply. joe b
Monty use the same headset as a T-Pro. So, he isn't trying to fit a standard headset into a T-Pro, because that would be ludacris. He is, as it clearly states, trying to get the right sized headset into the right sized frame! If i were you, Alex. Take it down to your local bike shop, and ask them to install the headset for you; i'm sure they will possess a headset press... Cheers,Joe.
