JT!
For starters, Mark, it wasn't the bearings to brake first, hahahaha! Sucks to be you! Right, Taken my wheel off, noticed the the cog has loads of movement left and right, so i tightened the lockring. First time i've done it, so i didn't know it was supposed to be really loose, as it was actually really tight. So i tightened it up to notice that it was pretty much on a 45 degree angle. Now i can't undo it because it undoes the same way it freewheels. And i haven't got a chain whip. Even if i did have a chain whip, i still think i'd struggle because it's on really f**king tight.Help. Edited July 12, 2006 by JT!
Lawnmowerman
Get a big set of mole grips on the cog loose and they'll keep the driver in place. Or if you have one of them black and decker wooden bench things they work if you clamp the cog.
