B.E.A.U
Well i have 3 bolts stuck in my hub where the disc goes. But the bolts are only bolts you would use wit ha screw driver head not allen key. And there in with lock tite. I need to get them out to send off the hub to someone. Anyone got any advice or help of getting them out. Please guys. Beau Edited July 10, 2006 by Monkey_style

Lawnmowerman
Cut another groove and push the screwdriver into the head as hard as you can whilst undoing it

Not if you don't drill through the threads. As you have got some bolts out, put a drill bit in one, to make sure it doesn't hit the threads a all... the judge
The bits for a philips screwdriver look like they're rounded but the outer edges of the longer ridge for a flathead screwdriver look ok, maybe try a large flathead screwdriver. You've probably tried this though, so just ignore me if you have
IOLO
put the bolt head int he vice and turn the wheel.. works a treat.try hammering them into the hub witht he screwdriver and a big hammer.,just ONE hit each.this shock will hopefully break the locktite bond,gd lukiolo. Al_Fel
Are you using a flat bladed screwdriver?
Ashley Smith
if all the above ideas fail, get urself an angle grinder, and completely grind the heads off the bolts. the disc should then pull off, leaving you with sum thread on each bolt sticking out, not much mind, but enough to get a good set of mole grips or pliers onto to try loosen the loctite, oh a tip warm the hub up with boiling water or a hair drier first, this should soften the loctite, however, this depends on which type of loctite you have used.............hope this helps regards ash
