m4rko
I'm probably getting a bit boring with all questions regarding forks but please bear with me Is Onza Tuf Guy fork good? Weight is acceptable, I'm interested are these forks strong and durable?I'm a fairly big, unsmooth guy with a phobia from breaking forks :$ so I would like to stay away from aluminum forks. Nick Garland
I have had Onza tuff guys since 2003, I have snapped 2 pairs of forks since having them and have gone back to these whilst I save up for another pair of forks. If you dont mind the weight penalty then you will have a hard time breakng them if they are as strong as they used to be.
chrishayton
tuf guys are fairly crap to be honest. they bend very easy. i suggest you lose the phobia of alu forks. my urbans are far stronger than tuf guys. if you want really strong forks get some zoo ones. they seem to be pretty awesome. MikeCottTrials
id say not bad mine have lasted a good 10/11 months. however they are bent backwards and they creak badly but its all good

Steerer snapped on the urbans and not on the tuff guys. To say that a proven fork is "crap" is quite a bad statement. Its a fact Steel IS stronger than aluminium if used at the same thicknesses, albeit heavier.

ogre
Spose if you want tank stylee forks you could get onza fall guys (onza slapped a mega warranty on them that they will replace em for free should you kill em, there that confident that they won't die) although there a fair bit heavier than normal forks i'd say it was worth keeping your front teeth
