Egg Fried Rice
right, i was backhopping setting my self up to do and gap and when i kicked it felt i done a wheel spin before i went off the edge. but i didnt give it any more notice and carried on riding. next minute i was pedalling and and my bike didnt move!! my cranks just turn but nothing happened, my freewheel didnt moving or anything. had a closer looker and i realised my ffw cranks threads are knackered.BUT!.....i am hoping its the freewheel and not the cranksi know my freewheel isnt loose becuase i tried tightening it and its an ACS claw welded so i really hope the threading has gone in the freewheel and not the cranks. i also found a threaded peice of metal strip around the bottom bracket, this means the threading has gone.has anyone else had this problem the cranks im using is the echo 2005 ones with an ACS claw. if it was to be the threading has gone on the cranks, can i get warranty?thanksJK Edited July 8, 2006 by J-KAY
mat hudson
all the threads are shite on echo products, and i doubt unless they are new you can get a warantee. i did somthing similar, but i stripped the thread off a screw on hub on my bmx

Mark W
Next time you buy anything, just remember Deng doesn't do threads or bearings too well, and bear than in mind when you're selecting the item for purchase
