Right..

I've decided to set up a PayPal account. Maybe a gay topic, but i've never used to before soooo....

I was a bit confused after i've made an account. I thought that it would ask about your bank details Etc.. in the bit where you fill out the Names, Surname, Etc.. near the beginning of creating an account.

So, I went on ' My Account - Add Funds - Transfer Funds From a Bank Account in the United Kingdom '. Is this the place where i give my bank details in so that i can use PayPal properly?

Or is there a different section where i fill in to give my bank details??

IM CONFUSED!

You need to activate your account.

Is on the left, should say activate.

Once thats done 2 small sums of money are sent to your bank account, only then once youve said how much was transfered will the account be active

Is there not a box on the left when you sing in that says add a credit or debit card or a Bank account just click that ah I was worng as said above you need to do the actvate account thing first.

Yeah. It says 'Activate Account' and underneath that it says 'Get Verified'.

I've clicked on 'Get Verified'. And now do i 'Set up bank funding'? or 'Validate account information'??

EDIT: Just saw the instructions near the bottom Will ask for more help if i need it Cheers guys.

Btw, when paypal puts the money in your account it takes about 5 working days for it to register at the bank.

Also when registering, when you put your phone number down the y rind it to make sure its you and you have to type in you password i think on the phone

theres no point in adding funds really. you can still use it when ur balance is empty it just takes it straight out of your debit card etc.

Quick question, how do you withdraw the money from the paypal into the bank account? Ive got some money in PayPal off someone but I want to transfer it to the bank account

Supposed to take 9 days i think, took about 2 f**kin weeks with me. just keep checking your bank every day (on screen statement).

The sums will be like 0.70p, 0.12p (like that )

I don't think it is actually essential to get verified to use paypal.

You can still send and recieve money without doing it.

Some places dont let you though unless you are verified.
