Jonny Shoe
I have recently cracked my T-pro majorly on the downtube, runs from one side of the downtube to the opposite point on the other side! I would like to know if it is worth getting it welded and heat treated (cost and strength) and who has had experience of this, or whether I should buy another stronger second hand frame? Thanks Edited July 7, 2006 by Jonny Shoe
Lee Cable
by the sounds of that, it means you will be charged to your account... so they wont be free....New frame matey, rewelded frames will eventually brake again. Get a zip or something, i heard zips ride nicely

CBProductions
It will just move the stress to a different place if im not mistaken , and anyhow if you've done that to the tpro I would suggest maybe a different frame and something a bit more robust. In my opinion I would go for a new frame out of simplicity. Toxsin mod long is nice
Lee Cable
Johnny, you have forgot to tell them what you were doing on your t-poo......hips? i quote Jonny!-Sk8park yesterday rocked! Snapped frame says:it was sooo cool though yestersday i was doin bmx shit on my tpro so funJonny!-Sk8park yesterday rocked! PaRtZ
In al honesty I'd get a new frame too. Welding is rarely 100% strong and equal whereas as metal, a granular material is more likely to, as craig said, displace stress more evenly.Sorry if my logic is flawed btw lolZona zip is immensly strong btw A fatty like me cant break one.... Jonny Shoe
Still have it but not keen on ridin it again because I like the longer frames now and ones that are a bit lighter. Will be sprayed again and then sold.
