Gaz M
Everytime i look on the train line at train fares, theres always the 'Saver' option but the description on how to have it is just rubbish cant understand a word just wondering if anyone could tell me about it, how to aquire it and what id have to buy to have it, also im aware theres a few other options to make train fare cheaper by buying other things simlar to 'savers' and info on them would be much appreciated. Ben Cox
saver option you buy in advance and its cheaper, and for like day trips you can get the cheap day return (after 9:30am (off peak) )Ben

Ben Cox
nah thats right chief, the further from the date you want to travel you buy it, the cheaper it is, i booked my ticket up to my brothers ages ago (chelmsford-aberysytwth) and it cost me 20 quid instead of 50 something

F-Stop Junkie
Some savers tie you to a specific day, or even a specific train, ESPECIALLY the ones to London. The more you can specifiy, the cheaper it gets.
