Ross McArthur
hey I was watching the trial nior video the other day and seen Chriss Akrigg pull smooth reverse manuals and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to do them? Apart from practice of course.I know trying them on a slight downslope helps and maybe having short cranks will help too. I can, because im right footed get my right pedal round but cant for the life of me get the left round. hope at least one person in the pre members bit can help out! thanks
PaRtZ
being left footed or right footed wont make a difference at all, it just means you'll start with that footIve tried it a couple of times, but its stupidly hard. I found flat land was easier. ride INTO a wall slowly with no brakes, so you do a slight endo. Make sure your body weight is really over the backThen lock the back brake so you rock slightly onto the back wheel, then with your weight still back unlock the brake and pedal backwards. Whilst you're learning be ready to pull the back brake again thoughIf you cant get it, don't beat yourself up over it. Its really hard to master. Akkers is nuts at that sort of thing.... Si-man
Best learning at a skatepark. Just go up the ramp till your at a comfortable height then when your rolling backwards its easier to lift the front wheel up and keep your balance.Works for me anyway lol
