Clawz114
Hi, i will be in need of some new forks pretty soon and i was wondering if the Brisa elite 26" forks are any good? They are £102 and can be found on www.brisabikes.com. If it helps i will be running 4-bolt maguras and i will be riding street a lot more than natural.Dan

ScotchDave
I believe these had a nice problem with snapping at the headtube.
mehukatti
Yes, the Elite ones with aluminum head tube snap VERY easily from there. For modern riding, taps and so, I would say they will kill you in a week. BUT the Brisa Pro fork which is the same design with steel steerer, is actually one of the best forks ever made, IMO. Relatively light, strong and modern CNC'd lower leg design. You can identify the Pro model by having painted, not anodized, lower legs. JKH
I broke a Brisa Pro, with the steel steerer. Doesn't matter though, from what I've been told Brisa is practically out of business. If you're gonna spend some big money on a fork, as much as I hate Kxxx, their forks last a long time and are relatively light.
