Right, thought i would mess about with some tube lengths for my new frame;

15 and a half inch chainstays

16 and a half inch seatstays

14 and a half inch high bottom bracket

12 and a half inch seat tube

22" top tube

24" down tube

5" head tube

Will these work?

Well i aint really guna say anything about the geom, but the hub i think could be a bit of a bad idea for a couple of reasons. I saw a guy who had a nicolai hardtail with a 150 rear, he said it was cool, but he caught his shoes on the stays all the time with it been that wide. Also, youl have to have a silly wide bb to get around this problem which pretty much limits you to the fsa giga pipe bb, think its a 100mm width he'd end up using. Diabolous cranks are also available in that width...Ive owned a leeson frame for years since he started making them, i cant really see the 150mm width been to much of a benefit, the 135 is stiff as it is

Garrgh imperial :S

Measurements could do with being in mm please, an inch is not really very specific for trials geo.

What size wheel is it for?

Sorry, it's a stock frame.

Jesus that would be one massive mod frame.

Yeah, for some reason i thought it was going to be a 24 :S

I'll whack the measurements into a converter and see what they are like...

387.5 mm chainstays

37.5 mm bb rise

whats the head angle and wheelbase going to be do you think?

This is the measurements your looking for:

395mm chain stays

420mm seat stays

370mm high bottom bracket

318mm seat tube

560mm top tube

700mm down tube

128mm head tube

There we go, these should be correct.

Hmm mine were different... but i just multiplied them be 2.5 so bound to be wrong...

Whats the wheelbase and head angle going to be do you think? The wheel base will probably make the biggest difference. 395 sounds pretty long for chainstays to me, 380 seems to be about the norm looking at many of todays popular frames.

395mm chain stays is perfect, my Pashley has 16", just decided to make my new rear end a bit shorter.

As for head angle, i don't know I'll as when i phone to order the frame, something not to far off my Pashley's.

Wheel base should be around the 1100mm mark, I'll measure my Pashley when i get my Echo Urban's and minus the differance.
