mike425 Posted July 9, 2006 Report Share Posted July 9, 2006 Well i aint really guna say anything about the geom, but the hub i think could be a bit of a bad idea for a couple of reasons. I saw a guy who had a nicolai hardtail with a 150 rear, he said it was cool, but he caught his shoes on the stays all the time with it been that wide. Also, youl have to have a silly wide bb to get around this problem which pretty much limits you to the fsa giga pipe bb, think its a 100mm width he'd end up using. Diabolous cranks are also available in that width...Ive owned a leeson frame for years since he started making them, i cant really see the 150mm width been to much of a benefit, the 135 is stiff as it is Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The wheel base will probably make the biggest difference. 395 sounds pretty long for chainstays to me, 380 seems to be about the norm looking at many of todays popular frames. The wheel base will probably make the biggest difference. 395 sounds pretty long for chainstays to me, 380 seems to be about the norm looking at many of todays popular frames.395mm chain stays is perfect, my Pashley has 16", just decided to make my new rear end a bit shorter.As for head angle, i don't know I'll as when i phone to order the frame, something not to far off my Pashley's.Wheel base should be around the 1100mm mark, I'll measure my Pashley when i get my Echo Urban's and minus the differance.
