dbtrialer
Would grinding my d521 rim weaken it. If so by how much. What would be the best brake pads for a smooth and a ground rim.Thanks.
ned1
nah i thought itd weaken the rim by loads when i got my first grind but it does hardly anything although your rim will probably start denting and stuff after like 3 or 4 grinds.i suppose it depends how harsh the grid is though. Echo-Scott
Hi, No it doesn't weakin the rim by much, you could even say by hardly anything at all. I just got my first grind about 4 days ago and my rim feels just as strong.Scott.

The Duck
wehay!! Yes, his rims are probably solid, either that or he 'grinds' them with extra fine sand paper or something!
CurtisRider
my last d521 had a good 15 grinds on, but i then changed to 24 so stopped using it of coursemavics are the best rims at handling grinds, you can give them real beef and they still shrug it off
