Davey
Not sure if this has been done, couldn't find anything, I thought it would be useful to have a reference for this. If you have snapped your frame/forks/cranks or whatever and tried to get a replacement courtesy of the manufacturer, let us know how it went, were they helpful, did you get a replacement, were they rude/unreasonable, if so we can avoid them. Lets face it, parts break, but the manufacturers know what they are making the parts for, so saying they only warranty for "normal day-to-day use" or whatever just doesn't wash with me!!! Mark W
The only stuff I've warrantied has been frames and cranks with Supercycles, and I've had no trouble at all Half-price replacements on all of them

CurtisRider
snapped curtis forks, gary refused to fix/replace themgaylordermmm, screwed a set of rf diabolous cranks in a day, got a refund through crc i thinkhope-always been great, fixed a few of my hubs and stuff never really bothered with any other warranty jobs, most stuff ive destroyed doesnt deserve to be warranted, cos its been so ragged, so its cheeky to ask for a replacement! MrSuave
when Brisa were around i cracked 2 frames, snapped 2 sets of bars and bent one set of there forks, replaced every single bit without question totally free of charge.Hope are also pretty handy, overhauled my old bulb rear hub twice, one replacing the driveshell and springs for free.genrally i find if you talk to them in a respectable manner. i.e - dont act like an uneducated child, most companies would rather help you out than risk bad feedback on components, they should always do at least a cost price/ half price replacement deal.....
