mavic Posted July 3, 2006 Report Share Posted July 3, 2006 I recently purchased a hope spacer kit and i'm just going to take my cassette apart and go single speed.Now i was just making sure that literally all you do is put spacers in were you don't want cogs? then put it all back togther as normal?.Thanks for your helpDan . mavic Posted July 3, 2006 Author Report Share Posted July 3, 2006 Yeah i have seen that one, i was also wondering is there less like strenth holding it all together? like all the cogs are pinned and then have groves to fit around hub. However, if they were all loose and you had to get all of the cogs and spacers all lined up it'd be a mission, not to mention they can charge more for it 'cos it's sold as one big unit Loads of people use single-speed spacers like these, and have no problems.
