Freewheel On Stock?

yeah thats perfect. just make sure you tension the chain up and not down or the chain will start slipping round on the freewheel.

i already run it like that so this sounds great thanks for the infomation as i was'nt sure about wether to go with this or not but i think im gonna now :D

I had a hope XC with single spped kit and wanted to upgrade. I was looking around for something with a fair few engagements. I found an ENO with DMR revolver hub and obviously i had a fixed cog upfront so bought the wheel and ENO for £50!!

Its good, just get a tensioner/mech and you're away (Y). I've had no probs with it. My mate Martin also has a similar set up. Overall less chain slack and smoother, but i does suck when you try and pedal fast. :lol:

Thats why a frame with horizontal drop outs wouldbe ideal
