Difficulty Setting Up Rear V Brake

i knew i wasnt the only one that had this sort of problem. i also ride a pashley. the reason the frame flexes so bad is because there are no gussets, bars, yokes or any sort of strenghthening welds neer the brake bosses. i run an old hs33 on the rear with two brake boosters and this eliminates most of the flex from the frame but not all of it. since you are running a v-brake i presume your not running a booster, if you have the brake set up perfect on both sides and it is still flexing try and find one of those horse shoe boosters that bmx riders use, these fit underneath the brake bosses and should sort out any flexing. if this still doesnt work maybe you should consider talking to one of yopur local welders and get some gussets welded around the brake bosses. hope this helps.

i guess its good that yo're only making topics when you need to and cant find it on the forum, but what you put abovre was a bad idea, edit it out lad ;) get yoursef a booster and that should sort it. also a linear slick cable available from www.pijin.co.uk
