I've just got home from the police station having just had to make a statement, so I'm not fully with it, but yeah - I don't know what's going on with Si. It's not a post about him wanting a girlfriend or something so I was partially surprised, but even so, I'd take an exception to the above quote.Two words:Trials.Shack.Trials-Shack has helped so many people out getting their videos out on the web. There were other free-host sites out back when Trials-Shack first came around, but none were as good at all. Si paid a fairly hefty amount of money monthly to keep that site running, ran some comps and stuff (in fact I'm even wearing a Vans T-shirt I won from a Trials-Shack Bike Show comp, weirdly...). But basically, it was just that Si did a LOT to help out people in the trials community for no reward at all, except for having another site to add to his portfolio. When T-S went down the first time, people were properly gutted and we had to go back to hosting on shit sites like Eengoedidee and the other random upload sites around. Tv.isg.si is OK, but not ideal. Si again worked super hard to get T-S up and running again, and again invested a lot of time, effort and money. I'm pretty sure he's helped out a lot of people with sites on here too, and he's been pretty useful in some the forum-running-related threads in SM chat too, e.g. the validation thread where people highlight NMC people who need to be validated, and the forum suggestions thread. Either way, he's put a shitload more into the trials community than you have?I don't really get what's gone on with Si tonight or anything. Haven't really seen him like this before and don't really get what the f**k's going on, but that's life. A lot of people complain in the Reports system about people's posts, and a lot of arguements have been caused on here by people typing stuff out after their posts every time. Yes, to some it doesn't matter, but to other people it clearly does. You can use any sort of "Get a life, lolz" shit you want, but to be honest, if you're on here you're just as bad as anyone else? Back to Si, anyway, I don't really get why he was, in fairness, being a tool to people in this thread, but there we go. No doubt someone will have a word...Just a quick point - Biff, you're complaining about Si being too "into" TF, yet you begged repeatedly to be allowed to be a member again both on the forum, to me over MSN and getting your friends to beg on MSN too? Seems a bit hypocritical. Oh, and just in case you'd forgotten why you'd blocked Tomturd, it's cause you said that "all the admins and mods are c**ts", just in case you'd forgotten. Or were you hoping no-one would know that you'd said that? Oh dear...Anyway, I guess a bit of consideration to other members from everyone would probably be pretty useful and stop shit like this happening in future. Just think about whether your post is likely to f**k people around/piss people off. If it is, is there any real need to post it? I don't wanna get all happy-clappy, but this is a f**king useful site for people, so if people aren't at each others throats all the time it's going to make it better. I really don't like (edited from "f**king hate" ) several members on here, so I'm not expecting everyone to want to get on with each other and shit, but with little stuff like this maybe not adding on some pointless crap at the end of your post that you know pisses people off might be an idea? If you want to add it, just put it in your sig.
