:$ Erm, well the other day after riding my friends bike, I realized, I don't know how to drop instead I end up gapping the drop. So, how do i go about dropping? Do I hop to the end and give a small kick an hop or do i get though the edge an just kind of give a little push?

Please leave any Pointers, thanks.

1 - Get on the backwheel.

2 - Thrust hop to the edge.

3 - Get balanced on the edge.

4 - Lower the front end of the bike till its is horizontal with the edge of the drop (not vertical). :P

5 - The drop off.

6 - When landing bend your legs to take the stress of your bottom bracket.

7 - Ride off your done.

Dan.

How hard would you kick? Because it sound as if if you don't kick hard enought you wouldn't get far enought from the wall and end up scratching your back all down the wall. Has any body ever done that?

If you kicked to hard you would fling your self from your bike.

Is it not just better to gap from it?

Your wheel is further back than your actual back though :ermm: so really not possible
