Rich Pearson
tv.isg.si link - Trapped in a MomentThis video is three different things in one. Its a piece of A level course work, a promo video and its a personal statement concerning reactions of the public, much like what Phil Feeney did with the Define This video which is kind of what inspired me to make this one. Responses are welcome on any of those things, positive or negative. EnjoyRich

The song is called Lux Aeterna by the Kronos Quartet. Its from the Requiem for a Dream OST.Rich

Rich Pearson
I hear what your saying Chris. What I said in the video certainly goes a lot deeper than trials. I haver real issues at the moment with a lot of people who I'm forced to get on with but just can't becasue of their opinions, generally centering on a certain issues that happened with me and my girlfriend recently (if you want to know more, ask Tic, I'm not really comfortable talking about it on a public forum). But Phil's video just really got me stoked and thinking which is why I made this one with the brief in mind that I could bring to attention and say out loud what a lot of people are thinking.Rich
jay119
Great vid, but I don't quite get the whole 'everyones judging me thing', correct me if I've got it wrong. I've never felt that kind of reaction to riding. From whom do you receive negative feelings about your riding? When you say 'people' thats generalizing quite drastically don't you think? Pretty much anyone that goes by when I'm riding either says nothing or says 'nice one!' or something along those lines. Again, sorry if I've got it wrong, which is very likely, but theres two ways to deal with criticism or prejudice against you and what you do, be affected by it and suffer, or deal with it, accept that they are wrong, and go ride! An_toin3
i think that you have 3categories :first one are th epeople who walk and just look at you with weird facesSecond one are the one who finds that what you are doing looks cool and the third one are the people who shouts at you for no reason apart from you riding on a bikeThat's how it works here anyway
Luke Williams!
quality vid, your views are weird on trials i believe only some people are like that but branding everyone like that is abit of a shame, some people watch in ore and love trials also what is that back track been lookin for it for ages Edited July 1, 2006 by LukeBrisaRider

Janson
he said what the back track was a few posts up, lux aeterna from the requiem soundtrack.that was a cool video. song is nice too, used it on a presentation in college, it was cool because i talked about the romanticism (sp?) and about dark woods and shizzle, and the song breaks out in violins just as i talk about something sad, it was awesome.anyways, sorry to go a bit OT there. great vid. STEVE-0
Very cool video! I liked the whole questioning and statements about trials going on...very interesting. Cool music as well, maybe a bit heavy seeing as the language used wasn't aimed at anyone e.g. use of people.Good effort nevertheless Steeeve
Lee Cable
i love that video, describes my situation almost perfectly. I had to watch it twice, once to listen to the narration and second to watch the riding. i like the fact that you say " forgive these people". Kinda makes me think alot. All the abuse i get from the public when i ride, was seriously getting out of hand, before i broke my leg. And i hated those people, for not understanding me. But next time i ride, and they give me abuse, ill talk to them, explain what im doing.Seriously man, thanks for that video Lee
jay119
What kind of abuse do you get when your out riding? I'm interested to know, I've never experienced it. Apart from the 'Ger of my land!' but everone gets that...
Jonny Jones
Requiem For A Dream, awesome film, and the theme to this film fitted really well for this vid. I think its kinda good more people are expressing the sport like this. Nice work J.

TRA
Good stuff, i liked it . editing in abit more clips , especially when your riding and people on the street passing and watching would have done the trick.I like the "deep" thoughts. its true
Dan6061
Just sat and watched that a couple of times.Really liked it.I just sat and stared at it, then words make more sense and seem deeper each time.Probably because i'm tired, and I was staring at it with a blank stare. But still, really liked it.
