Wright Pads
I got bord so was cleaning my office up. on way home met up with a house mate and went to Sainsburys and used the old coin collecting machine. Of core not donetating it to charty just the fee of using it i got this tidy amountJust random coins i had thrown in a pot in the office..yet to do home!!!So as you foeks say, saving the pennys does add upVery random i know but mehEdit and no i wasn't taking a pic of the birds ass behind that ticket...even though it looks like i was!! Mark W
I collected all my change together and ended up with £50 or so. Kinda ragged through the £1s and 50ps, so I've just got a shitload of 1ps and 2ps. Got a fairly decent amount of them though, but it just annoys people

Simpson
just pour all old coins into a machine and it gives you the money back in a simperer form like notes or pounds - not pennys.........but for the privilage of service takes 7p per pound of your money theiving c**ts!! Clawz114
Basically its a big machine which you dump all your coins into, it counts them all up and displays how many of each coin you put in. And just so you know the percentage that they take out goes to charity, so i wouldn't call it stealing and besides, he thought it was only £30, he got £100 more than he expected, surely thats good enough without complaining about the £11 or whatever that the charity "stole" off him?Dan
am4zin
Read the topic dude, i said 7.6p per £1 or soemthing like thatyy, it took 11 pound something on this. meh im happy about it thoughSorry, my bad. 7.6% seems quite a lot, but I guess it's better then taking loads of coins to the bank to cash in (maybe that's why there are long ques at the bank)

Lee Cable
How do you know, that the machine doesnt lie? you may put in 100 2p coins, and it may only show 50 and then it still takes its 7.6%.
Clawz114
because im sure if you counted out 200 1p's before hand and then put them all in and looked on the monitor at how much is says you have put in it will be correct...im sure someone must have tried it
