A pure 1998 GT LTS 2000DS. Pretty much the same spec a sback in the day bar a few tweaks and upgrade, one being a bearing kit as to the bushes.Did 32 mile yesterday and am shagged.Ride a deam, lower the sdle become a mean dh jump bike, up the nut cursher and xc all the way.Yes i am quitting trials as the rumors have flown about. I need to get my strength up in many aeras and need more fmaily time. With the above stead i can now ride with the family whooPete

adamtrials
Pretty funky, not really my cup of tea though. Is that the thermoplastic one or am i thinking of the Lobo?
Wright Pads
STS is the thermocast job as was a latter/early LOBO. The very early ones where then they did a last run batch. Lobo latter came in 6061-T6 and the STS was stopped Edited June 30, 2006 by Wright Pads
adamtrials
Lobo latter came in 6061-T6 and the STS was stoppedAnd for some strange reason there are few sts lobos left, but plenty of 6061's around. Not like snapping is going to be a problem on that bike though.

Had a mate that had one, it snaped. The LTS alloy stuff still dies, but with a few mods and tweak like the bearing kit help make it lvie and no die.Ebay is best place to get them, though i took a few in at work a si wanted one badly, got 3 made 2 up form the best kit sold one stil lgot one left.fact here is a bad pic of the one i did totaly up and is leftPowdercoated gloss black front end, anodized blue rear std bushing kit but all re lubed and propley fitted. Krisboats
I personally hate the look of that GT, just not my kind of thing at all. I prefer the look of the kona XC bikes/santa cruz kinda thing or the orange bikes for downhill.But.... That bike is truly gorgeous. Looks so sleek in black, like a ninja. The only thing that could possibly be changed is the silver burns for some black ones... but after a bit of use they'd be mostly silver anyway so its not too big a deal. adamtrials
Nah, burns should always be silver...Looks sweet.

Wright Pads
Frame will only take 5'' or 4'', forks are 4'' and they feel perfect. What a steal. Had them in mates place form 1998 in a box, never used, never fitted till just
