willwithashton
I dont think it will be for a while because he has just signed his deal with orange bikes. This means that they will only now be starting to design the new frames, and after testing etc it will be at lest 6 months.
Luke Rainbird
However speaking to Martyn a while back he mentioned that he was considering releasing another 24" at some point, so this is probably when he'll do it (if he decides to go ahead with it)This time, however, a bit more time will no doubt be spent on testing etc to reduce the cracking/snapping of them, although with Orange I would expect quality anyway(Not that I wouldn't from Ashton Bikes, that came out sounding a bit of a dig which it wasn't...) Yeah, i cba to find it but Ashton himself has said on this forum that there should be a new 24 later this year,or something like that. You might be surprised to know that Martyn seems to visit here quite regularly, but rarely posts. Edited June 29, 2006 by adamtrials
Luke Rainbird
Not surprised in the slightest actually Emailed them a few months back and got told "possibly early 2006" but of course that didn't happen, however with the recent developments...(Oh, and if you need a test rider etc. Mart...) Ross McArthur
may even be sooner than you think guys when i spoke to him his two prototype frames were waiting on him at home a steel and an alu version of his 24" he had to decied what was going to be used - strong and heavy or light and er not so strong! though the paint job doesnt sound to good black from the head tube through to red through to white at the drop outs if u can see what a mean - "like an eighties styled BMX" he said. any way yea dont expect anything less than some superb quality sheeat from the man himself
