Ashton And His New Range Of Orange Bikes

Recommended Posts

hey guys, and gals!

i was riding with martyn and chopper when they were in Scotland before the world cup in fort bill and martyn was saying he is going to bring out a new range of frames to lure in the non trials riding public! frames with his old silver frames geometry and with a seat and stuff so the general public can "ride them down the shopps" as he so adiquitly put it.

he also said he is designing a range of his own ashton bar and stems and stuff like that im just wondering ig any one knows when the range is comming ouy, because he is goin to include a 24" version aswel and im intrested to see what it will ride and look like.

However speaking to Martyn a while back he mentioned that he was considering releasing another 24" at some point, so this is probably when he'll do it (if he decides to go ahead with it)

This time, however, a bit more time will no doubt be spent on testing etc to reduce the cracking/snapping of them, although with Orange I would expect quality anyway

(Not that I wouldn't from Ashton Bikes, that came out sounding a bit of a dig which it wasn't...) :ermm:

Yeah, i cba to find it but Ashton himself has said on this forum that there should be a new 24 later this year,

or something like that. You might be surprised to know that Martyn seems to visit here quite regularly, but rarely

posts.

may even be sooner than you think guys when i spoke to him his two prototype frames were waiting on him at home a steel and an alu version of his 24" he had to decied what was going to be used - strong and heavy or light and er not so strong! :-

though the paint job doesnt sound to good black from the head tube through to red through to white at the drop outs if u can see what a mean - "like an eighties styled BMX" he said. any way yea dont expect anything less than some superb quality sheeat from the man himself (Y)
