An_toin3 Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 (edited) that's it, I have a "Panasonic MiniDV cam, model # PV-GS9" I have downloaded the drivers from panasonic's site, everything went well, connected it to my pc detected, installed automatically !The problem is that when I want to capture the video in movie maker is says that there are no device connected ! Tried to do it with another Program, Sony vegas ! Same thing !Any ideas why it doens't work ? CBProductions Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 I know it's silly but have your restarted since installing the drivers. CBProductions Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 (edited) You wont be able to capture via usb as the computer wont register it as a device and it will only capture in 320 x 240 however there should be a driver specific to it normally called usb streaming or something like that. Gilman Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 They're two ways to connect this camra, one by usb and the other by firewire cable.Usb is for digital pics.Firewire is for video footage.You need to get a firewire to add video to your computer.
