Mark W
"Secrets of the 200mpg Supercarburetor, the International No.1 Best-Seller" Not so sure I'd agree with "If they'd introduced this technology in 1930's, we wouldn't have ashtma, bronchitis, heart attacks and cancers". They're not just caused by stuff related to fossil fuels, so it wouldn't really matter? 'specially heart attacks?Either way, pretty interesting. Kinda weird to get another glimpse of how major multinational corporations can pull the wool over almost the entire world's eyes...

Mark W
Fatty fat fat fats eating their own bodyweight (increases exponentially ) in fatty foods and sugary drinks every day, leading to CHD, which leads to heart attacks aren't caused by someone driving a Hummer and ragging through a shitload of fuel. Similarly, ashtma's related to other things too? Bronchitis is also caused by people smoking (unless I'm thinking of something else), so that wouldn't really be effected? People had cancer before people drove cars too, so it's not really like it's a fair thing to say, which is probably why he said the other scientist dude told him he was talking shit.Geek-fight: ON
Tomm
Bronchitis is also caused by people smoking (unless I'm thinking of something else)Yeah, I think 98% of people with COPD (posh name for bronchitis, basically) have been a smoker for a significant amount of time. I couldn't be arsed reading the whole article, but it sounds like crap to me.Fatty fat fat fats eating their own bodyweight (increases exponentially ) Ahahaha, that's funny
Mark W
The stuff about the physics of it, and how the "supercarburetor" would work kinda makes sense, it's just the over-dramatisation of how it'd make the world a better place is a bit un-necessarily. Making cars 500% more fuel efficient at least is a kinda good selling point anyway, even though the oil companies won't dig it? Don't really have to lie about external things to push the point any more...
