Gilman Posted June 27, 2006 Report Share Posted June 27, 2006 Disc brakes generally squeek, especially when they're pretty new and not fully broken in.If squeeking presists you can take some sand paper and ljightly sand down the pads, so that you take off the top layer off the pad, this usually helps. justfuzzit Posted June 27, 2006 Report Share Posted June 27, 2006 Take the pads out and lightly sand them, be carefull not to touch the surface with your hands. Clean the rotor with brakeclean. Put the pads back in, make a few hard stops and it should be alright. You might just neednew pads like if yu got oil or grease on them.
