Break Squeal!

If the disc mounts on the forks aren't properly faced then they can squeal,the pads could also be contaminated.My disc brake used to squeal all the time on forks that weren't faced, but when i changed forks i had the disc mount faced and it was all good after that, worked better aswell :)

fair point.

i'm getting new forks soon so maybe that'll sort it :)

im gunna rub some alcohol into the rotor to see if that works :P

Disc brakes generally squeek, especially when they're pretty new and not fully broken in.

If squeeking presists you can take some sand paper and ljightly sand down the pads, so that you take off the top layer off the pad, this usually helps.

Take the pads out and lightly sand them, be carefull not to touch the surface with your hands. Clean the rotor with brakeclean. Put the pads back in, make a few hard stops and it should be alright. You might just neednew pads like if yu got oil or grease on them.
