Ross McArthur
hey this is my first ever topic. I was wondering how many people have snapped their cranks? I snapped my tensiles the other day and have a funny video.

Mark W
Cracked my elderly right-side Tensile a few weeks ago, and got an Urban Legend crankset as a crash replacement. Ideal

Lawnmowerman
Ring them and have a word, I think Tensiles are under the same warranty as Onza parts (half price crash replacement).
Mark W
I did, and they sorted me out with some Just give 'em a call, tell them what happened. They're usually pretty sound about it You'll probably get a half-price replacement, so don't go into it expecting a free set or whatever... Mark W
If you go to www.megaupload.com, www.putfile.com or www.youtube.com (need an account for the last two, but it's easy to set up ), you can upload/host them there
sunn_bmixx
My friend broke a set of monty cranks. He broke the left side first and the the right in a 3 week interval. Both of the snaps look him to hospital for stitches!! Wasn't too nice. He's ok though, didn't get it on film. Most of the time cranks snap from either wear and tear or a manufactuing fault. If you can spot a smooth air bubble looking shape on the snapped area then this would have been and error in manufacturing. If its a Hair line crack then your unlucky as this can't be put down to manufacturing faults Hope this helpsIan B
